About
Built to help you
find your place.
THEE YARDLINE helps athletes discover HBCU athletic programs, compare schools, and find the official way to contact each program.
This site does not host film, take applications or message coaches. It points you to the right official pages, and it tells you when it last checked them.
Where the information comes from
We use public, official sources, in this order: the school's athletics website, the school's own website, the NCAA and NAIA directories, and official conference sites. Other websites may help us know where to look, but they are never the source for a coach or a contact.
The list of institutions starts from the U.S. Department of Education's list of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We then check each school's athletics information separately.
What we never do
- We never guess an email address or phone number. A contact appears only if it is printed on an official page, and we link to that page.
- We show only varsity programs a school lists as varsity.
- We never use AI-generated students, athletes, coaches, campuses, stadiums or uniforms.
- We don't use school logos or school-style marks that could suggest a school endorses this site.
- We never publish unverified information to fill space. An empty section means we have not confirmed it yet.
“Last checked” dates
Every program shows when we last checked it. Coaches and records change, so treat each page as a starting point and confirm with the program. When something has not been found, we say so instead of leaving a blank.
