Why it matters

More than a
roster spot.

  • A school
  • A campus
  • A classroom
  • A community
  • Teammates
  • A home

You are not choosing a roster. You are choosing the place you will live, study, compete and grow up a little — and the people who will be there while you do it.

On an HBCU campus, that place has a name. The Yard is where the community is: the people, the culture, the traditions and the sense that you were expected.

Thee Yardline is being built so you can see the HBCU programs that fit your game, and then choose the rest of it — the campus, the city, the people — with your eyes open.
